Abstrak

Improving PPKn Learning Results and Activities on Human Rights Material Through ApplicationDiscovery Learning Assisted by Vikkap Media for Class Classroom action research applies the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by vikkap media (Vidio Cases of Violations) to improve students' learning outcomes and activities in Civics and Human Rightssubjects at SMA Negeri 1 Kapuas Murung. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests and observations. Discovery Learning is a learning model that involves students to discover their own concepts or principles. Discovery Learning assisted by video media makes the learning atmosphere more enjoyable, learning is not boring, students are actively involved in learning and ultimately can improve students' learning outcomes and activities. The research was successful, proven by an increase in learning outcomes and activities from pre-cycle to cycle II. Improvement in aspects of learning outcomes which include aspects of knowledge, attitudes and skills. From 48% it increased to 69% and 87%, from pre-cycle to cycle I, and from cycle I to cycle II. Learning activities increased from the classical pre-cycle activity by 30%, cycle I by 66%, and cycle II by 86%.
