The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the policy of Government Regulation No. 53 of 2010 concerning the discipline of Civil Servants Work at the Kelurahan Office in the Banjarbaru City area of South Kalimantan Province.
This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with primary data sources coming from informants namely the Village Head and all civil servants in the Kelurahan Office in the Banjarbaru City area. The data digger used is observation, interview and documentation while analyzing the data qualitatively.
The results showed that the implementation of the Government Regulation Number 53 of 2010 concerning the Work Discipline of Civil Servants at the Kelurahan Office in the Banjarbaru City area was quite good seen from the willingness to carry out tasks according to predetermined working hours according to working days and carrying out flag ceremonies every Monday morning get dressed and use a fingerprint attendance machine.
The obstacles found in the Implementation of Government Regulation Number 53 of 2010 concerning Work Discipline of Civil Servants at the Kelurahan Office in the Banjarbaru City area are: the low awareness of employees to act and be disciplined in carrying out tasks such as late work and adding their own holiday, there are still employees who are late in attending the Monday morning ceremony and lack discipline in wearing work clothes in accordance with applicable regulations.
