Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to find out "How the effectiveness of public services carried out by
the Office of Regional Personnel, Education and Training of Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency".
This study uses descriptive methods, data mining tools in the form of interviews for primary data
and observations and documentaries for secondary data. While the data analysis uses descriptive
qualitative.
The results showed that the Public Service at the Regional Civil Service Agency Office in South
Hulu Sungai Regency, which consists of: Employee work performance consisting of indicators of employee
work skills, which is meant in the category is quite good and for the work results achieved from the
performance of the intended employees in the category satisfactory (good) in terms of employee
performance still needs to be improved while for services, systems, mechanisms and procedures based on
an understanding of service procedures included in the easy category (good) which is not convoluted and
for, the time of completion of services included in the category good (right) has never passed the specified
time limit while for service implementation competencies seen from the knowledge, expertise, skills and
experience included in the category of good enough which still needs an increase in knowledge and
accuracy in the skills and for, the conduct of service providers in providing services in terms of friendliness,
attention, and non-discriminatory can be said well while for, Supporting facilities and infrastructure seen
from the comfort of service places and service support facilities can be said to be quite supportive due to
service support facilities are still it needs to be improved so that the effectiveness in public services is
created.
