Abstract: The principal's leadership factor also determines the success of teaching and learning activities. Teachers as part of the system are components that drive this success. So the role of the principal to empower teachers as part of optimizing performance is very necessary. This role has a significant contribution, because the type and style of leadership used will color the work atmosphere in the school, and this will affect the success of teaching and learning activities. In improving the quality of kindergarten education, every activity to be carried out must go through a systematic process flow, so that good quality is produced as well. The process flow in question is the management process starting from planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision (Mulyasa, 2012; Juliantoro, 2017). In kindergarten education the management process is very important, so that the programs and curriculum provided have gone through the process. Starting from the analysis, then planning is made, continued to be implemented and evaluated and of course monitored whether it is in accordance with the plan or not when it is implemented. In other words, the process approach strategy is applied in all kindergarten activities, so that by going through a good process, the quality of these activities is better maintained and will continue to be improved so that the quality standards of school activities can be achieved. In the application of this research, it is common to see an increase in optimal achievement. This is indicated by the achievement of teacher quality assessments of 100%. This shows the success of the principal in implementing teacher empowerment.
