IMPLEMENTASI METODE MEANS ENDS ANALYSIS (MEA) PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA TENTANG GENERATOR UNTUK PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IX-A SMP NEGERI 2 DADAHUP TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

This School Action Research was conducted at Dadahup 2 Public Middle School. The subjects of this school action research were all 30 students in Class IX-A of SMP Negeri 2 Dadahup for the 2021/2022 academic year, consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students. The results showed that based on the results of classroom action research that had been carried out in 2 cycles by applying the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) Method in learning Physics in Class IX-A students of Dadahup 2 Public Middle School, the following conclusions could be drawn: Application of the Means Ends Analysis Method ( MEA) can improve physics learning achievement of Class IX-A students of SMP Negeri 2 Dadahup. This can be seen from the percentage increase in the Physics scores of Class IX-A students from the pre-cycle, Cycle I to Cycle II. In the pre-cycle, students who got a minimum score of 70 were 14 students or 46.7%, in the first cycle students who got a minimum score of 70 were 22 students or 73.3%, in the second cycle students who got a minimum score of 70 were 29 students or 96, 7% of 30 students. From the pre-cycle to the first cycle, student achievement experienced an increase of 26.7%. And from the first cycle then carried out in the second cycle, student achievement experienced an increase in the percentage of 23.3%. Based on the results of observations and implementation of cycles I and II, we can also observe changes in the percentage increase in preparing tools and materials, the sequence of student steps in carrying out experiments, student activity in carrying out experimental activities, student activity when discussing and the final results or conclusions obtained. from the results of discussion activities.
