The purpose of this activity is to determine the relationship between job analysis and the
performance of sub-district employees in the Banjarbaru City area as office holders. This research is an
explanatory type, the research population is the holder of Kelurahan office in the Banjarbaru City area.
While the sample is taken by total sampling, so that the entire population is used as a sample. This research
was conducted with a quantitative approach, using a descriptive method, the data obtained by using a
questionnaire to the respondents. Data processing was carried out using chi square analysis through the
SPSS program. The results show that: (1) job analysis has a significant relationship with performance, (2)
while on the job, and work ability has a weak level of relationship with employee performance in the
Banjarbaru urban village. The low performance is due to the non-optimal application of job analysis
methods based on applicable Government Regulations, including the non-optimal implementation of work
implementation such as work discipline, work ethic, less systematic work patterns, responsibilities, relatively
low job relations such as coordination between employees. positions and subordinates.
