Abstrak

One of the main problems of learning mathematics today is the lack of understanding and motivation of teachers at school, so that children are less active in the learning process. This phenomenon occurs at SDN I Selat Tengah. Based on the results of formative tests for math class VI semester 2, the material for changing ordinary fractions into decimal fractions and percent or vice versa is low, this is evidenced by the analysis of the average class 58, 33. Of the 30 students who excelled in learning completeness scores, only 11 students, the rest still far below KKM (≤75). Students do not understand how to convert ordinary fractions into decimal fractions and percents or vice versa. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects studied were grade 6 students of SD Negeri I Selat Tengah, Selat District, Kapuas Regency Semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year. Before there was an increase in the number of 30 students who had completed learning with KKM 75, only 11 students, with an average score of 58.33 with a complete learning of 36.66. Improved learning Cycle 2 first meeting average class 83.33 complete 25 percentage of completeness 83.33%. The researcher concluded that the learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 1 Selat Tengah, Selat District, Kapuas Regency in the subject of changing ordinary fractions into decimals and percents and vice versa through the Drill and Group Discussion methods learning outcomes increased.
