The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant relationship between learning motivation and social studies learning outcomes in class V A in Pandahan 2 Elementary School Tanah Laut Regency. The research subjects were fifth grade students in Pandahan 2 Elementary School, Tanah Laut Regency, totaling 32 students. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with questionnaires and documentation as data diggers, data analysis used is Corelation Product Moment with serial correlation formula. To answer the question, the serial correlation formula is used, the conclusion is that a small portion (27.27%) of students have low learning motivation with an average learning outcome of 6.58 which is quite large (54.54%) students have moderate learning motivation with the average learning outcomes are 6.54 and the smallest (18.18%) students have high learning motivation with an average learning outcome of 7.5. Based on statistical analysis using serial formulas, there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and social studies social studies learning outcomes in class V A in Pandahan 2 Elementary School Tanah Laut Regency, which is indicated by 0.863 lebih besar 0.423 (significant level of 5%). Based on the results of research and conclusions, it is suggested that students always be motivated to learn social studies in order to achieve better learning outcomes and schools should be able to become input of information and knowledge in an effort to increase learning motivation.
